What you're buying
For £7.99 you get a game character with a set of moves, drawn from your photo, placed into the game you chose, and a link to play that game. The link stays up for as long as Star In A Game runs [or: for at least 2 years].
Photos you upload
- You may only upload a photo of yourself, or of someone who has agreed to it.
- The person in the photo must be 16 or over.
- Don't upload photos that are offensive or that you don't have the right to use. We may refuse or remove any game.
The character
An AI draws the character, so it's a cartoon likeness and won't be perfect. It works out the side and back views from your one photo, so those are its best guess. If you're unhappy with it, reply to your email within 14 days and we'll redraw it once for free. If we can't draw a character from your photo at all, you get a full refund.
Cancelling
Because the game is made just for you and delivered straight away, you agree that you lose the usual 14-day right to cancel once we start drawing it. [Check this wording against the Consumer Contracts Regulations for digital content.] This doesn't affect your rights if the game doesn't work.
